Disc Insulators are used for stringing overhead lines & to insulate the poles. Tension load of the line varies and hence disc insulators are available in 45 KN, 70 KN, 90 KN & 120 KN. Fittings of disc insulator are available in two types:
- Ball & Socket type
- Tongue & Clavis
